FYSETC Spider motherboard v2.3 + stepsticks TMC S2209

SPIDER v2.3 is a control board designed for 3D printers and CNC devices providing great capabilities in a compact size (155.3mm x 76.5mm). The FYSETC Spider was developed in collaboration with the VORON Design team and is dedicated to the Voron 2.4 3D printer. It will also find its use in other 3D printing devices from the VORON stable.

The board is compatible with firmware: Klipper, Marlin, RRF.

Technical specification:

• Board based on STM32F446 processor clocked at 180Mhz
• All input/output devices can withstand 5V
• Support for 8 TMC stepper drivers, with Uart&SPI support ( included with TMC2209 )
• Improved TMC jumper settings, more intuitive to use
• Has two vehicle fuses for heating table input and main power input
• Maximum input voltage max. 28V, 12V at 3A DC-DC, 5V at 5A DC-DC circuit for Raspberry, 5V at 3A DC-DC for microcontroller and RGB 3.3V at 0.6A LDO
• Optional 24V/5V/3.3V limit switch socket, ready to connect other devices such as inductive sensor, BL-Touch
• 10 mosfet outputs with PWM support (1 for heating table, 3 for hotend, 3 for fans, 3 for RGB LED strip)
• 3-pin temperature socket, thermistor or thermocouple can be used (requires AD597 module)
• Up to 8 PWM fans，2 RGB outputs (optional 12V and 24V)，1 5V-RGB output (NEO-PIXEL / WS2812)
• Integrated RepRapDiscount SmartController socket
• 2X4 PinHeader out for SD card module
• EXP1 and EXP2 have more multiplexing functions, such as USART, I2C, CAN
• Supports SD card and USB data transfer
• Equipped with SD card

Spider v. 2.3 updates

• Change 12v-24v RGB port layout to 3 fan ports, which can be used as a fan port more conveniently and still maintain RGB output support
• Optimize the fan control circuit, upgrade the buffer chip to independent triode control, enhance stability and greatly improve safety performance
• All motor drive module interface communication networks add high voltage buffering and voltage clamping processing, adding a shield to the MCU
• Re-layout the PCB, connectors position changed
