The S2209 v4.0 stepper motor controller is an extremely quiet motor driver IC for two-phase stepper motors.
S2209 v4.0 is this year's upgraded version of TMC2209. This driver is compatible with many legacy drivers such as the TMC2208.
S2209 belongs to the ultra-quiet motor driver ICs for two-phase stepper motors. Advanced chopper - "StealthChop2" ensures quiet operation, good performance and best engine torque. S2209 v4.0 has fast current regulation and the optional connection to the "SpreadCycle" allows very dynamic movement. The controller is equipped with "StallGuard" for sensorless guidance, while the integrated MOSFET transistors support motor current up to 2A RMS with protective and diagnostic functions.
Easy-to-use UART interface allows for tuning and control.
