Stepper motors

A stepper motor, otherwise known as a stepping motor, is driven electrically. The mechanism of operation involves performing rotary motion by a constant, strictly fixed angle, which depends on the type of motor and its purpose. Thanks to their design, they provide high accuracy and precision of control ranging from 3-5% error. In particular, stepper motors are used in robotics and precision industry, automotive mechanics, as well as printers and plotters of all kinds, where accuracy and repeatability of performed operations is required.
