Aluminum profiles are one of the most commonly used construction materials widely used in industry, e.g. for the construction and design of automatic robots on production lines and their equipment. They are often used by engineers to create prototypes and produce small series of devices due to the easy availability of various types of profiles as well as connectors and accessories. On the other hand, in the 3D printers, laser plotters as well as CNC machines industries, they are often used to build frame structures. Whatmore among the university and school students they are widely used in the construction of robots and various types of university projects.

Why aluminum profiles are becoming more popular? Due to a large number of different shapes - we have a choice of many types of profile sections that allow to be used not only for the construction of structures, but also as assembly elements, e.g. for solar panels or as frame elements for furniture and tables. Engineers using these profiles and based on the popular 3d printers designs, such as: Voron, Hypercube, HevORT, designed frames with an blind joints assembly system that doesn't require additional angles or corner connectors. The use of angles is only optional, when we want to obtain even greater stiffness of the connection. The frames are connected with screws, which can be additionally used with glue to protect against possible loosening as a result of vibrations during the operation of the constructed structure.
