D1 R2 WiFi ESP8266 module compatible with Wemos and Arduino
D1 R2 WiFi ESP8266 module compatible with Wemos and Arduino with its pins header is compatible with popular microcontroller Arduino Uno. It does allow you to use it in already existing solutions. It can be programmed thru ArduinoIDE, for sure this fact does make using this microcontroller easier. First usage/Configuration:
- Download and install Arduino IDE form website: www.arduino.cc
- Run Arduino IDE, choose File -> Preferences
- In "Additional Boards Manager URLs" paste:
- https://dl.espressif.com/dl/package_esp32_index.json
- Open Tools -> Board -> Boards Manager
- Install ESP32 module
- Now you can access WeMos boards form Tools -> Board
